guess what i did last week....can't do it?! i separated a human arm/shoulder blade from its body! i ALSO scraped off the tissue on the side of the head, including the ear AND used a bone saw to remove part of the skull! i don't know if it is called a bone saw, but that is what i am calling it. we are trying to get the brain out of one of the bodies with the spinal chord in tact, and the brain wasn'tcoming up so we had to break off some skull on both sides so we could see around it. soooo cooolllll.....haha

after that is was time to celebrate my friend jessica's birthday. had amazing dinner, went dancing, and realized going "out" in petaluma is strange unless you are with a group of fun people you know.....i don't know if that made sense, but there you go.

we then proceded to go to a comic book convention yesterday! jessi is in a comic book class and had to go for that and brought me along. we were only able to go for a few hours, but decided we are going next year. it was the,,,Alternative Press Expo?...yea, anyway, it shortened to APE. but yes, there were just tons of fun people and fun art and crafts and books, and a bunch of cute nerdy artist guys! good stuff i say.

and to my lovely, i miss you o so much. i hope i get to see you soon. love.

DUDE! You were doing pro-sections!?!?! OMG!! I think the trickiest part of retrieving the brain isn't the spinal cord, but getting all 12 cranial nerves! And I think my teacher said it was sometimes easier to take out the brain from behind rather than from up top or wherever people usually get it from.

Anywho, that's my two cents.
